On Thursday Night, the Hancock County School Board had their regular meeting, but there was nothing regular about this meeting.

The evening began with Rev. Tommy Seals addressing concerns about violence in the school, and a particular incident involving his daughter. Apparently, his daughter had spoken with a teacher about a concern over another girl. The teacher did not take this very seriously, and brushed off the incident. Minutes later, Mr. Seals' daughter was assaulted by the other child, and violence ensued.

"I expect two things," said Seals, "Education, and protection. You have failed in both. My daughter is afraid. I have no issue with my daughter being suspended, I have an issue with non-intervention. I think its ridiculious. It could be your daughter next."
